school Students Grades 9-12 |

identify academically talented students and provide innovative programs which
support the development of their optimal educational potential. |

Introduction to Engineering 2008 at The 10-11 graders |
MITE
is a 5 day program that presents the opportunity to discover the exciting
world of engineering through hands-on experiences and interaction with engineering
students, faculty, staff and alumni from the Cockrell School of Engineering. Program

Students live in a
university resident hall during a 4 week summer session and enroll in two
college courses for which they earn up to seven hours of college credit.
