An Invitation …

You are invited to experience the excitement and adventure of the Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) at Hebron High School.

Join the NJROTC program in the Fall Term to fulfill a P.E. credit or elective credit requirement for graduation.  By simply adding “Naval Science” to your schedule, you can be a part of a new, challenging program at Hebron.  Gain self-confidence by learning leadership principles and Team Work to help you meet tomorrow’s challenges today.

The Goals of the NJROTC program are to:

       a. Develop a high degree of personal honor,

           self-reliance, self-discipline and leadership.

       b. Promote patriotism.

       c. Promote high school completion.

       d. Provide incentives to live healthy and drug-free lives.

Cadets are provided all uniforms and shoes, at no expense to the student.  At the end of the year, the uniforms must be dry cleaned and returned to the unit for the summer.  Those Cadets interested in participating in a week-long, Summer Leadership Camp, may apply for either Basic Leadership Training or Leadership Academy, for a nominal fee.  The Summer Camps are conducted at Naval Air Station, Fort Worth, Texas.

Become a part of the NJROTC program at Hebron for the 2007-2008 school year!  Go Hawks!
