LISD CREDIT POLICY:
Students who entered their freshman year in 2002 or later
must meet the following credit requirements before being promoted:
1. To be classified a sophomore, a student shall have earned
at least 6 credits, including credits in English I, geography,
Algebra I, and biology.
2. To be classified a junior, a student shall have earned
at least 12 credits, including credits in English I, English
II, Algebra I, geometry, geography, world history, Biology
I, and IPC or chemistry or physics.

General Information
Announcements: Second Period and on TV Monitors through the
building
Attendance Office: 1st Floor. Check in or out through the
office when arriving late, leaving early, or after an absence
Bell Schedule--4 lunches: Schedule
Standard School Lunch: Students-$2.20 Adults--$2.55.
A la carte items are available and vary in price. Pay cash
or purchase a debit card(for sale in cafeteria between 8:00-8:30
AM.)
Buses: Drop off and pick up at back of school
by cafeteria. Call Durham Transportation for more information
about your route. 972-221-4557
School Day: 8:45-4:05. Office Hours: 8:15-4:15.

Student Handbook
Take Your Child to Work Day
The Lewisville Independent School District does not participate
in "Take your daughter (or son) to work day." If a
parent takes a child to work and indicates so on a note explaining
the absence, the absence will be unexcused. The child will receive
a zero on assignments for that day.
Attendance
Student absences can subject a parent to charges
