You may or may
not know that the
This means that
you, a relative, a friend, or business-owner that shares our students’ passion
for music, may donate to the HHSBC. Upon doing this, you may
specify for the funds to be used toward the general fund, purchase of specific
items such as technical equipment, music, cd’s and cd players, trips,
competitions, etc. If it is for a trip, it may not go towards any specific student,
but rather the group as a whole, or as a scholarship fund for needy
students/chaperones/accompanists. You will be supplied with a
letter acknowledging your donation from the Booster Club that can be used for
your tax records.
We would like to
encourage each of you to consider donating, as well as letting your friends,
colleagues, relatives, and neighbors know about this opportunity. Large corporate sponsorships are welcomed as
well. We are happy to acknowledge each
and every donation, large and small, through the mention of such donation in
the music programs and other areas. If
you would have need of a letter explaining this, please contact the Booster
Board president, treasurer, or Choir Director.
If you would
like to donate, simply write a check, place the word donation in the memo area,
include a note if you would like it to go towards a specific area, and turn it
in either directly to the choral director or to a board member.
Please do NOT confuse this with fees and
dues that are paid for your student, which fund your student’s participation in
choir. HOWEVER, you may donate and specify an area in which you would like the
donation to be received. If any of you
have general questions, please contact Laurie Lutz, Rachel Forester, or Sally
Albright. Their contact information can
be found on the Booster Board link below.
For any specific information
to your specific tax situation, please talk to your tax accountant. THANK YOU for your consideration of this important venue of raising money
to ensure that
