Mrs. Dawn Oyedipe joined the Hebron faculty in 2003. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas. She is a professional violinist, with training in classical, jazz, and folk music. While at UNT, Mrs. Oyedipe was selected for an exclusive internship at Epcot Center with the Disney All-American College Orchestra. This program greatly shaped her approach to music education. She hopes to impart this experience to her students, emphasizing professionalism, excellence, creativity, and a sense of humor. Mrs. Oyedipe is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association. She has been an educator for 12 years., having previously taught in Carrollton, Plano, as well as privately. She has served as an adjudicator for Solo and Ensemble Contests and UIL Concert & Sightreading Contests across the state of Texas. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to jazz, and playing video games. She also finds time to perform, and has worked on studio projects with various artists. |
