The
mission of the Hebron High's Technology Student Association
is to prepare our membership for the challenges of a dynamic
world by promoting technological literacy, leadership, and
problem solving, resulting in personal growth and opportunities.
The
Hebron chapter has approximately 40 active members and meets
as needed in room 1335 before or after school. The group is
sponsored by Hebron faculty members Dale Rodgers and Ward
McCain.
In
addition to various local club activities, the group competes
each spring in regional, state and hopefully national contests
related to technology challenge issues, parliamentary procedure,
communications, computer construction, constructing systems,
cyberspace pursuit, desktop publishing, dragster design, electronics,
engineering graphics, extemporaneous and prepared speaking,
flight challenge, graphic design, imaging technology, inventions
and innovations, leadership challenge, manufacturing, mechanical
challenge, controls, technology quiz bowl, Technical research
and writing, technology systems, transportation challenge,
transportation modeling and many, many more categories!!!!
The
yearly dues are $20.
